We are Dark Day Pictures, a production company based in Ireland. Our team, led by Mike Jones and Stephen Hall, have a passion for delivering visually stunning productions that captivate audiences. Our core mission is to create highly original and compelling content, while utilising the dramatic landscapes Ireland has to offer.
We offer a comprehensive range of film production services to bring high-end content to international audiences. Our production team provide creative and budgeting support, location scouting, access to sound stages, the Section 481 tax credit, and various other soft incentives to maximize your production budget.

Irish Tax Credit
Ireland's Tax Credit is one of the most exciting available. It provides a rebate of 32% on eligible Irish expenditure, with 90% available upfront.
Company Set-up & Compliance
We are a full service company assuming all usual responsibilities expected of company directors operating in Ireland, ensuring tax compliance, workplace compliance, appointment of all legal, financial infrastructure, management of accounts, and provision of film production/company insurance for all operations in Ireland.
